Just curious to know if this feature may be implemented in a future update? Thx.
in reply to: Error with covariance?Bump.
This would be a wonderful feature if it’s feasible; I’ve long wished for this capability in my other programming environment (an open source solution). I know it’s been a feature of IDL/ENVI for the last 20 years.
in reply to: Lasso data to make new datasetAh, didn’t notice that option. Thanks!
in reply to: Issue with axis break and titleI observed this same behavior and have the same question!
in reply to: Issue with axis break and titleI can’t respond on behalf of the OP, but this is a welcome feature for me — I’ve been playing with it all morning.
Being able to set the x-axis range over which the normalization occurs would also be very helpful (e.g., using a mask). Also, being able to scale all plots to a specific value at a given x-axis position would be great. I can provide example data for this use case if it would be of help.
Thanks.
in reply to: Multiply/Divide A Range Cells By The Same NumberFWIW, this is a feature I would use regularly (normalizing multiple columns at once). Being able to scale multiple columns to arbitrary values (e.g., 0.8 – 1.0) would also be useful.
Thanks!
in reply to: Scaling multiple columns from 0 to 1 at onceThat would be great — I’ll send a file shortly. Thanks!
in reply to: Error with covariance?Yep! I tend to use Plots when I want to show a bunch of spectral lines offset, and although that may seem not to need this (because the combo of offset and colors might seem to be sufficient) , I try to be considerate of color-blind viewers. Sometimes different line types (the other obvious alternative) make details of the data I plot harder to see, so having solid lines with symbols would be a great alternative.
in reply to: graphs with line and marker without “bridge data”Are you referring to inserting a carriage return at specific locations in the label? If so, you can insert “\n” where you want the break. Hope this helps.
in reply to: Text Wrap x-axis labelsI can’t speak for the OP, but this is very helpful and a significant time/complexity savings, thank you.
Could this also be implemented for the Plots command (the OP’s other question)?
Thanks!
