Color ramp
Updated
A color ramp maps a range of numerical values to a continuous color gradient.
Color ramps can be used anywhere you can select a Color scheme, but provide continuous colors, rather then discrete colors.
Create a color ramp
Create a color ramp using the color tiles to access the color picker. Build a color ramp for a minimum and maximum value.
Range
You can have ramps defined for multiple ranges.
Numbers outside of the color ramp range will use the next closest color.
Missing
This color is used for numbers that are NaN or for gaps in the range.
Transition
The transition between the min and max of a range can be linear or logarithmic.
