Does Datagraph allow to put a subview of a smaller graph in a larger graph?

        Hi Peter,

It does and it’s called Magnify. You can access it either via Command > Add Magnification or via the Magnify icon in the toolbar.

There’s an online example you can access by going to File > Online Examples and typing in Magnify and opening the file (see screenshot below).

Hi SGP, thank you. And the following up is if I could embed a smaller chart in the larger one within the DG, without exporting them separately and editing them in another software.

Yes you are able to do this – DataGraph is very flexible in this respect. Once you’ve created the graphs, you can simply right click to copy the graph in your preferred format (vector vs bmp). Or you can go via File > Export graphic and select your preferred format from there.

I also suggest searching “inset” in the examples.

This brings up a couple of examples that use both the Magnify command and the Graphic command.

Basically the Magnify command creates the inset using a section of the current graph, whereas the Graphic command can be used to create an inset using external images or a graph in the same file.

The Parametrized path example, demonstrates both!
