Version 5.2 Color Scheme

Hi, I upgraded to 5.2 yesterday and now I cannot get my legends (pie chart) to match my custom color scheme.

Is there a way I can quickly revert back to the previous version please? I tried, but I’m still running 5.2.

Hi Elaine,

Are you using a Color scheme variable? We tested the Pie command in 5.11 and 5.2, and both versions do not automatically show the custom color scheme when you add the default Legend command. Perhaps they should, but for now, here is what we suggest.

Please try using the Custom Legend command. You can add this using the Label drop-down menu from the toolbar. Assuming that is the issue, here are the steps:

1 – Click the Label icon in the toolbar and add a Custom Legend command.

2 – In the Custom Legend command, use the Add menu and select ‘Variable.’

3 – This will add a Variable entry menu.  Select the color scheme you want to display.  In this example, the color scheme is called ‘My Colors.’ In DG 5.2, you can add an outline using the Border check box.

Does this fix the issue?
