      Hi,

I was wondering if there is an easy way to use flattened data to make multiple bars like the one attached (from online examples).

I have used Pivot command to calculate some statistics and export them as a flattened columns.

If you have the raw data then you can directly plot the data and use a  Split axis.

Here is an example showing the data structure and the graphs, using two Pivot commands that have a mask on the Group column.

        Does this help?

Yes, perfect, it does the job.  Thanks.  Although, it would have been nice to be able to use “bars” command too.

Is there anyway to have one common x-title for for split x-axis as above? Each axis has its own title.  I tried to use “Text” command but that is also specific for each axis.

I want to have one x-title (time) for both graphs center at the bottom of them.

          Thanks

You can get a centered axis by using the Title field on the Canvas settings and set the Space below to a negative value.

The slider here does not go negative so you have to type in the value and make sure you adjust the margin.  We will work on making this an easier option.

So, I tried this method and towards the end I figured that there won’t be any title.

Besides, by using Pivot command you cannot control the error values explicitly which is the case for me (I have to calculate the error values manually, since I am dealing with weighted numbers).

All in all, I think being able to use bars command on a flattened data is a missing feature in DataGraph.

                Thanks,
                Kourosh
