Hi, just noticed the following data which was missing for finding minima. Is it a bug?

The Plot action column finds “local minima” and does not include the edges, since technically you don’t have data to show this truly is a local minima, (i.e., if you extended the data to the left would it increase just beyond the data you recorded?).  This was action was designed in particular for data where you want to examine periodicity, distance between peaks or valleys.  For that use case, you would not want to include an edge point.

Perhaps, we could add the option of including the edges if that would be useful; however, if you want the overall minimum, you can use a Number from column variable to find the minimum directly. Here we show the minimum using a Points column to indicate the location.

Thank you for the reply. When the dataset is beginning in an increasing intent or decreasing, the edge points would be useful to be regarded as a local maximal or minimal.
