Data Label placement with the Bar vs Bars command

On advice received here I’ve transitioned to using DataGraph’s very powerful Pivot command. In so doing, I’ve also adopted the Bar command (instead of Bars) to capitalize on the former’s convenient color palettes.

I have found, however, that while Bars offers data label placement at Top, Middle, Start and End, the Bar command offers Start, Middle and End.

I had been using “Top” positioning with Bars so that data labels appear at right-most end of the horizontal bars I am using. That’s very convenient. Is it not possible with Bar?

Hi Robert,

Yes – that appears to be something we added to Bars that did not make it into the Bar command. We agree the same options should be in both.  We will get this option into the latest Beta.

Hopefully will have it out later today.
