Is there a way to combine multiple datagraph files into one?

      Thank you,

Currently, there is not an automated way to combine files.  What you can do is copy and paste any of the objects (data or commands).

        To move data between files,

        1. Click one of the column objects.
        2. Command-A to select all.
        3. Command-C to copy.
        4. Go to the file you want to paste them in.
        5. Command-V to paste.

For a single graph with commands, you would do the same steps, but start by clicking on one of the commands in the graph do you want to copy. You can also copy and paste the Layout settings. That said sometimes the data connections may not work properly when going between Files when you have data nested in group.

So not sure if this completely helps you. Maybe you could let us know a little more about what you need to combine.

Thank you. I have been using those techniques. I was hoping that there might be a way to combine like datagraph files — appending one file to the next.

I have separate datagraph files for measurements of different events, some from the same male. I was hoping to append all similar files into one larger dataset for analysis.

          Thank you,

If you have data sets with the same structure, you can drag and drop from one file to another and then combine the groups into one larger group.  Please see the article we just posted:

How to move data between files

            Does that help?

That will create new groups rather than append the data to the end of the data table, wouldn’t it?

              Thank you,

Yes.  That creates a new group.  To append into a group, use the same mechanism to append one group of data.

Here are instructions for that:  How to Append Groups of Data

To go between files, copy from a group in one file and paste into a group in another file.  Does that help?

                  Yes. Thank you.
