I am trying to make a bar chart (with x-axis as text), over the bars I want to add a marker or plot graph based on the same labels of the x-axis, but with a secondary y-axis. I can’t do it because I get a warning that says that I can’t use an x-axis as text.

Do you mean something like this?

Here I have a bar graph and a line plot.  The Plot command requires x and y to be a numeric column.  The Bars command can use a text label, so you see a label on the axis, but the data is located at the row location.  Thus, if you chose the row number ‘#’ as your x column for the Plot command, you can show both together.

Here I outlined the x for the Plot command.

Nice! it’s worked for me. Now…how I can change the setting of Y2-axis?, from 0 to 7 as in the excel graph?

          many thanks!

            Looks good!

You can control the range with the axis settings.  A short cut is to double-click on the axis to get a pop-up menu with the include, padding, and restrict settings.  Type ‘7’ in the include box and set padding to ‘none’.

That should do it.  Here is an example.
