How to plot this function?

Hi, how can I plot a function like

There is no function like sum, and modelling it via columns is getting rather complicated. I would like to plot this function with a slider for k. But I do not know hot to do this.

Or am I missing something?

You can do this, but you have to perform all the calculations in the data table.  You can use expressions, similar to the advanced expressions here, to populate the x and k columns. Then the Pivot command can be used to perform the sum from the calculated values.

We posted an example to illustrate File > On-line examples.

The file produces this graph where you have a slider to vary the k value.

That seems tricky. But very nice that it can be done this way. I have to take a closer look at it and to fully understand it.
