I have a column with date/time data and would like only the day to show on the x-axis and can’t find out how to format it.

Why is it showing 0:00 for all positions in the graph?

I was watching some of the training videos and experimented with changing the width of the graph. When I reduce the width, the numbers on the x-axis change to the dates I was looking for. When I widen it again, the numbers change to 0:00. Why is this?

When the size of the graph is set to automatic, in the Canvas settings, the axes labels will change when you have more room. For Dates, there is an option in the Axes settings to show two lines. When you do, you will see the Date shown below, along with the time above.

If this graphic is for a publication, you might want to set the size (or something close to the final size) so you can see how the automatic settings look.
