Hello, I have searched for an answer to my problem and so apologies if it is in the guidance/forum somewhere already!

Basically, I’m producing some Y-standard bars using the bars command. Some of the labels (even when abbreviated as much as possible) are long and although I can increase the white space to the left of the y axis easily using the axis settings it still doesn’t look quite right having all the text in one straight line, it would be more natural to break it across a couple of lines ….. especially as I’ve multiple bars per label.

So, I’m asking is there a way to split the y label text into 2 (or more) rows? Thank you!

        Hi,

One way to do it is to use \n (for line break) in your labels.

        Hope it helps.

          Amazing! Yes that works perfectly.

Thanks so much for the tip – all sorted!

          Have a wonderful day,
