I drag and drop a CSV file that has content like this:

      CanESM2,CCSM4,CNRM-CM5,HadGEM2-ES,INM-CM4,IPSL-CM5A-MR
      0.1,0.5,0.1,0.5,0.3,1.3
      0.1,0.5,0.1,0.5,0.3,1.3
      0.1,0.5,0.1,0.5,0.3,1.3

And DG has it defaulting to date type, and I have to run “Convert to number format” on each column, to be able to run the Box command on it. Why is it defaulting to date format?

      Thanks.

We had noticed a similar issue recently.  We are taking a look on the logic under the hood, as it is allowing the decimal point as a dash and then interpreting as a date.  This should be a relatively easy fix in the next beta.

For now, you can change them all at by once.  First, select all the columns in the data table.  To select, click the header on the first column and then hold the shift key and click the last column header.

Then use the gear menu above the row number column.  Select “Change to number column” from here and all the selected columns are converted at once.
