Text order in “text set from column”

Hi,

When I used the Pivot command to draw bars graph (which is easier to calculate the mean and standard deviation). I have three groups and I would like to mask one group. So I create a “Text set from column” and I check two groups in the set. But I cannot adjust the order of text, that means I cannot change the order of bars in the graph. Is there any way to solve it?

It doesn’t work. Neither increasing nor decreasing. The only way I can achieve the desired order is setting Map columns: Specific-Name1, Name2. That means I cannot use the mask although it is not convenient. Besides, if only part of values more than the values in another column, the increasing or decreasing seems disabled. I means the best way is enable to adjust the order in the text set and shows the graph correspondingly.

I see what you mean, this option is not working properly when the Time column is a number. This should be something we can fix.

For now, change the column type for your Time column to a text column (use the gear menu on the column object or control-click on the column header) then you should have the option of sorting according to one of these columns.  For example, use ’10 up arrow’.

Thank you so much. It works now. Only I have no idea for the operation “change number column to text column” and also the used “10 up arrow” to order the bars in the graph.

If we can adjust the order of text in the text set variable and show it in the canvas directly?
