      Hi,

Is there a way to normalise multiple number columns at once between 0 and 1? I know the option for mapping shortcuts which is very helpful. But I have a larger number of column which I want to scale between 0 and 1. Is there a way to achieve this without selecting the option via the gear menu for every single column? A shortcut for this action would also be helpful as this would allow skipping these mouse clicks on every column but as this is not part of a menu command, I cannot add this as a custom app shortcut in MacOS.

      Thanks for your help,

      Thomas

We don’t currently have an automated way to do this for more than one column at a time in the data table.

Not sure if this helps but you can right click on the column header to get the same menu as the gear menu.  This still only works for one column at a time.

        scale1

Do you have to do this action often or is this just for a particular data set?

FWIW, this is a feature I would use regularly (normalizing multiple columns at once).  Being able to scale multiple columns to arbitrary values (e.g., 0.8 – 1.0) would also be useful.

          Thanks!

            Hi,

            thanks for your reply.

I have to do this with most of my data sets. So I am very used to clicking on several columns to scale them. It would save a lot of time to be able to this command for multiple columns at once.

            thanks
