Refine button not available for Scalar plot

The “Refine” button for smoothing the colored contours in a Scalar Field plot does not appear in the Color section, as shown here. How can I smooth the color contour plot without the Refine button?

Hi Gary,

If your grid is non-uniform the Refine option is not available.

For example, if you try the Uniform vs. Nonuniform example here:

You’ll find the Refine option is not there in the Nonuniform.

We will make this clearer in our documentation.

Making the grid uniform did enable the Refine option.
