outside tick marks

Hi, I just started using datagraph, seems like a good program with lots of potential!

Bug noted with tick marks: If I select “Outside” tick marks, and then check “Mirror” them for the opposite axes, the opposite axes have tick marks on the inside. “Across” and “Inside” mirror correctly. Thanks!

Hi!  Glad you are trying out the program.

Are you trying to add just tick mark lines or lines with labels?  This is an option that we have debated.  For now, we chose to ‘mirror’ the Outside option in this way, so that you don’t have tick marks jutting out with no labels.

If you want the axis the pointing out, try adding an extra axis command.  This will give you tick marks and labels with the full flexibility for customizing.

I’m just trying to add the tick marks, since if the axes are the same I just want a visual guide for readers to line up each side of the plot, labeling the axes twice would be redundant. Again, it does let you add inside tick marks, just not outside, examples attached.
