Congratulations on being close to submitting your next article.
We have actually been discussing removing the “EPS (Word)” output format in the next DataGraph version. Microsoft removed support for EPS a few years ago. Unless you are using an older version of Office, Word will not accept this format any longer.
Instead, this article recommends the SVG file format.

FYI – SVG stands for scalable vector graphic and is a more modern format than EPS. In fact, for many applications, such as Adobe products, we are finding EPS no longer works for import, but SVG works great.
We would love to hear whether or not SVG works for you in Word.
The other option would be to stick with a JPG format but output a higher resolution of 144 dpi. That will give you a Retina quality image. For more info see – How to export an image from DataGraph.
