A wider selection of points marker shapes would be nice, and/or the ability to use custom markers. I seem to recall from the few hours I spent trying to learn Tableau that it allowed users to load custom marker shapes. And though Google Earth isn’t a graphing program, it does let me use a little PNG file like this

as a location marker, with the ability to change the interior color.

We have not implemented adding custom markers, but there is a way to use the character map.  We did a demo in a past webinar:

Hope this helps give more options.  You can change the font color to change the color symbol/fill for the pictograms. We may add custom markers in the future, but for now hope this helps!
