Locking global variables

When the value field is used to key in a global numeric variable, the value can be modifieda small vertical slider.

It happens that uncontrolled action on the slider can change the value without the operator being made aware.

Thus, I suggest to have a tick box in each parameter box to allow the value to be locked

Interesting idea.  We have been thinking about how to lock down data, but had not considered the variables.

We will work on adding this feature to the next beta.
