Often I use labels in plots. However, each object (e.g. Label, Lines, Connect, Bracket, etc.) has different options to put and costumize the label. Sometimes background colors are available, sometimes I can rotate the text, etc. It would be really helpful if this would be unified such that I can put labels the same way when using an object.

Very often I then use “Text” in a plot to label sth. I would very much appreciate an option to anchor the text by coordinates such that it moves with the plot when the scale is changed. Also here in Text it would be great to rotate the text.

Thanks for the feedback.  We will look more closely at harmonizing some of the labeling commands.  For example, we added the outline method in the last version, but not every command has that yet. We agree that would be good to add.

In terms of placing text at a specific coordinate using the Text command, this also is something we can look at after the next release.  For now, the Label command is designed for a specific location, and if you don’t want the arrow/line, set the to Arrow style to a line (no arrow), and have the From Start offset at 0,0.

Here is an example where you can see a point drawn at 0.5,0.5.  The label will be drawn just to the side of the point.

Thank you for the feedback! Yes, the arrow/line workaround is exactly what I use often, but it remains a workaround.
