Export data variable values

Hello dgteam,

I am exporting some calculations where I use a variable to extract the info I am looking for into some columns. However, when I export, the variable name is exported rather than the value. This is not nearly as helpful to extract the desired information in an automated way. Is there a way to get the export to produce the value of the variable rather than the name?

I came up with a work around where I used a expression column to multiple the variables by 1 and came out with the actual numbers in the export. This may be a nice update, as I don’t think that anyone would care about a data graph variable name in the export, in my opinion I think most people would want the value.

Hi Jordan,

This is a very good point.  Great that you have a work around for now, but we will look at changing how it works when exporting columns that have variables in them.
