How do you determine the difference value (a2-a1) in a column and output it in a column next to it?

I can not find it in the manual or in the “get starting” Videos.

      Thank you

        Add an Expression column: f(x)

        Schermafbeelding 2024-01-15 om 14.51.23

Name this new column for instance Difference. Then use the column names for the expression. For instance, the column with values for a1 is called Value1 and the column with values for a2 is called Value2. Enter these column names in the expression line like this:

        That’s it. Hope it helps!

          Thanks for your answer.

Now I have found another solution:  f.e. “C” c.delta in the f(x) Expression.

          Best Regards.

FYI – The first response illustrates how to enter a formula for the difference between the same row across different columns.  The second response is for the difference between rows in the same column.  This uses what we refer to as a column property.  See the complete list of column properties.

P.S. We recently had a suggestion for a better guide for Entering Formulas. It sounds like that would have been helpful in this case!
