Access data across multiple datagraph files

Is there a possibility to access data, graphs, and/or variables from one datagraph file in another datagraph file? Dgraph can access external databases, so maybe also other local dgraph files?

Why? When I look at several datasets of same sort, I prepare a dgraph template with pivots and masks and sliders etc. Then each dataset goes into one separate copy of the same template, because this is much more convenient than having all in one file and handling too many variables or duplicating the pivots and exporting columns again etc.

When I then want to compare the datasets with one another I can only copy the final processed data as static number columns into a master dgraph file and make plots. Here I lose the possibility to change masks to the data or any other agile data treatment.

It would just be very convenient to link dgraph files with one another.
