Another example of how I am using Datagraph – to try to match up satellites. Some satellites have an identity associated with them but there are a bunch that are “unknowns” and I am pretty sure that plotting the right orbital parameter can help identify satellites.
Here is a plot with eight satellites plotted on it, four “8x,xxx” and four with names. It just happens that the time of the orbital parameter determination (called Epoch here) is different for the two sets but it does make the plot easier to read.
You can see the the slope of the line of “RAAN” is far different between the two sets, for instance 29249, Improved Trumpet, is much different from 89400. So we have eight unique satellites here.
