Odd Character

Hi
I randomly get and odd character appearing on the text label (hashtag and black border as seen on the image below), mainly on the y-axis. It’s very strange why it appears on the eps output and it is not visible on the Datagraph window.
The only way to remove the odd character, I need to take the file into illustrator.
Please advice if this can be fixed?
