Can this tool make some meshgrids or heatmaps?

Please check out the  Scalar Field command that is in the beta version.

It helps to get some feed back on this before we put in the release.  Would be great to know if this does what you are looking for, or if something is missing.

          Thanks. It explains.

When I dug in, I realized that DataGraph only allows the data with uniform columns and rows, saying 5 by 10, or 10 by 10. If there were some missing data, can it interpolate some NaN into the plot?

I have an uneven dataset and have no way to plot it using DataGraph as using Matlab meshgrid tool. Do you have a way? I can email you the data.

Is there a possibility to create scalar field plots from unstructured data through Delaunay triangulation?  Perhaps a supplemental plot command then to extract interpolated data along a specified path?

@petercreate — Sorry did not see your message earlier.  Please email the data. Helps us to see the format to give you the best approach.  I believe your hunch is correct that you can interpolate the data.

@sean — we don’t have Delaunay triangulation in DataGraph (This would be something we could do in https://www.visualdatatools.com/ImageTank/)

FYI — Another approach I have used is to use a Pivot command to do a 2D histogram of the data at specified intervals. That is output in a flattened format and  can be used as input to the scalar field.  Anyway, if you could send a sample of data that would be great.
