I want to set a specific date range to highlight a range. It seems not possible to directly use the date, but have to change dates to numbers and confer the numbers in the interval blanks. Is there an easier way?

You can refer to dates in any field that also accepts numbers using the following format:  yyyy:mm:dd

Here is an example with the Range command where (xmin, xmax) is set to (2000:02:01, 2000:03:01).

You can also enter dates as variables:

Thank you!  I was trying to figure this out myself the other day, and resorted to seconds for my x-axis bounds (ugh).

Is this specific formatting/capability documented in the PDF Manual?  I couldn’t find anything about how to format dates in numeric fields, only columns (where there is a lot of info about that in the manual).

          Thanks again.
