Hi,
There is some minor issue with how text box and legends are aligned. It seems that legends are aligned based on the legend box but the text box is aligned based on the text inside the box.
Attached is an example.
Am I missing something? Is there any work around?
Thanks,
Kourosh
That is a “feature” but we are looking into making it work better without affecting (too many) old graphs.
The issue is that the alignment is to the text and not the box. The y position is to the line and that is the same as the box.
It is hard to match this exactly because the padding is a fraction of the font size.
Thanks.
In general I find alignment in DG text box a little peculiar. For example, often enough, I want to place a text box in upper right corner and align the “text block (multiple lines of text)” inside it to left. Doing this will result to the below screenshot,
My workaround is to manually adjust the offset to achieve what I want (the problem with this approach is if I added a new longer line, I have to adjust the offset),
I understand that this is a feature, but it would be nice to have option to align text with respect to box or with respect to y-axis.
Thanks,
Kourosh
