I want to know if the color variables is not available for the alternates range.

The Alternates range cannot use a color scheme. You have to select a column for either X or Y. Then you can use a color scheme or ramp.

An example Datagraph file has been uploaded with several options demonstrated. (Select online examples under file menu in DG)

We are also updating the documentation for this command to make that clearer. I’ll post when it is on-line
