isfinite() and blanks

      Hi, I want to get variable c from summing a and b. But there are blanks in a and b, where are supposed to be taken as ‘0’s. I tried isfinite function. But it doesn’t work. Can anyone give a clue? Thanks.

        There is a missing option below the variable name in the left pane. Choose ‘set as 0’ to work for this. Sorry for bothering.
